Embraer leaders broke ground on September 9. 2015 on a new facility for the company’s Aero Seating Technologies division at Spaceport Commerce Park in the City of Titusville. One year later, RUSH Construction, Inc., along with design partners RS&H and Honeycutt & Associates, completed work on the project.
The completed facility includes design, development and production of luxury seating solutions for various Embraer products, and brings 150 new jobs to the area with an average wage of $48,000 annually.
“This was an exciting project for us,” said president of RUSH Construction, William Chivers. “We were honored to have been chosen to bring our team to design and construct this important facility here in our local community, and we look forward to the continued growth of industry here on the Space Coast.”
This is the fourth Brevard County-based facility for the international jet manufacturer and its first within the city of Titusville. It is also the first major project to take place within the aerospace focused Spaceport Commerce Park in northern Brevard County.
