NOSC HVAC Modifications – MacDill AFB, Florida
This $3.8 million dollar project was complicated and logistically difficult, and involved the placement of eleven new computer room air-conditioning units within the highly secure Special Operations Command Office Building. These units had to be installed within a fully operational computer room and could not allow for any loss of air temperature or humidity within the room while increasing the cooling capacity by 300%. An exterior equipment yard was also constructed that housed three – 185 ton chillers, and a new 2000 KW generator. “…throughout the term of the contract RUSH-PEAK have demonstrated commitment to quality production that has resulted in virtually no need for CORPS QA intervention, We feel fortunate that RUSH-PEAK was awarded this sensitive and complicated project…”
- Jeffrey A. Agee, P.E. Resident Engineer, MacDill AFB, FLOwner: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers
