Our “Building with Integrity” Playlist
A great playlist can keep you motivated and moving through the workday. Whether we’re wrapping up a bid in the office, preparing for pile driving in a port, laying the foundation for a new building, or managing a facilities work order, there are certain songs that get our feet tapping and lift our spirits.
In celebration of our 35th Anniversary this year, we are sharing our “Building with Integrity” playlist with you! Here are 35 songs submitted and selected by team members from RUSH Construction, RUSH Marine, and RUSH Facilities. We hope you enjoy!
“The Barry White song (You’re the first, my last, my everything) is one where I turn the volume up every time that it comes on. It just makes me happy and I intend for RUSH to be my “last” place of employment, so there is that connection. The Doobie Brothers – China Grove is kind of the same way in that it has a great beat and makes me happy when it comes on. “Unforgettable” is personally special to me and is also a word that I will use when I think back on my career at RUSH.”
“All of these songs can be aligned to various timelines here at RUSH. For the last 21 years, I have never STOPPED BELIEVING in what we can accomplish as a TEAM as GOD IS WITH US! Sometimes we need HELP to COME TOGETHER and YOU MAY BE RIGHT, DON’T ASK ME WHY because it’s MORE THAN A FEELING that EVERYBODY HAS A DREAM. We are all FEELIN STRONGER EVERY DAY due to our HONESTY. It is never BUSINESS AS USUAL here at RUSH because we DON’T STOP BELIEVING in ourselves and our clients. ANYWAY YOU WANT IT, is what we tell them. At the end of the Day – EVERYTHING’S COMING OUR WAY!”
