Fire Station No. 2 was a Design/Build 20,000 sf fire station. Facility includes drive-thru bays for emergency vehicles, sleeping quarters for emergency personnel, and dining facilities. Structure consists of tilt-wall concrete panels and structural steel frame. This project also included extensive site clearing, grubbing, de-mucking, water, storm water, and sanitary sewer systems including the installation of a new duplex grinder pump station.

RUSH also received a Group Achievement Award on this project for outstanding teamwork and commitment to excellence during the design, construction, and activation of KSC’s Fire Station Number 2.
