RUSH Facilities heads up team to support all Space Florida facilities operations and maintenance at the Space Life Science Building, Launch & Landing Complex, Shuttle Runway, South Campus, Exploration Park and Area 57 located at Kennedy Space Center, Florida.
Working closely with Space Florida’s Director of Facilities, Anthony Maddox, RUSH Facilities President Bob Dillow and RUSH Facilities Head of Space Florida Operations Steve Snyder lead the team to maintain and improve existing facilities. Working with an experienced and dedicated staff of general maintenance mechanics, electricians, HVAC Technicians, plumbers, custodial, and grounds workers, the RUSH team provides ongoing facilities services to keep the facilities operating smoothly and at peak efficiency.
On the Space Florida campus, RUSH Facilities also provides traditional “soft services”, such as shipping and receiving, procurement, safety, environmental health, administrative and reception duties and is assisting Space Florida in transitioning to a new Computer Management Maintenance System; which will streamline work and assist in the development of predictive maintenance plans to guide Space Florida capital improvement planning.
