RUSH Marine Completes Space View Park Walkway Project
On April 22, 2024, the City of Titusville held a Ribbon Cutting on the Space View Park Walkway. RUSH Marine was awarded the bid on the Space View Park Walkway Project for $998,656.00 on September 11, 2023. Work commenced in early January 2024 with an anticipated completion date of July 2024. The project was completed by the end of March, which was approximately 3.5 months earlier than expected!
The scope of work included, furnishing and installing 22 each 55’ long 14” concrete piles, 11 each cast in place concrete caps, and 10 each precast deck units to construct the bridge. RUSH Marine also furnished and installed pedestrian benches throughout the length of the bridge for the public to enjoy and take in the views. In addition, RUSH Marine hired RUSH Facilities as the electrical contractor to furnish and install the required solar lights mounted on top of each concrete cap to provide the necessary lighting across the bridge. The project was a great success and the partnership between RUSH Marine and the City of Titusville.
