RUSH Construction, Inc. receives Jess Parrish Medical Foundation dedication and recognition on the Pillar of Honor at Parrish Healthcare Center in Titusville for donating in excess of $100,000 over the course of seventeen years
RUSH Construction, Inc., was recently honored by the Jess Parrish Medical Foundation (JPMF) for their financial contributions in excess of $100,000 over the course of seventeen years to help further the Foundation’s mission to inspire philanthropy and volunteerism in support of Parrish Medical Center’s mission of Healing Experiences for Everyone All the Time®. A dedication and unveiling ceremony was held at Parrish Medical Center in Titusville on September 13, 2022, where hospital leadership and Foundation Board members unveiled an etched glass plaque on the Pillar of Honor in the main lobby.
RUSH Construction, Inc. President and CEO, William Chivers said, “For the past seventeen years, it’s been our pleasure to be a partner with Parrish Medical Center in their efforts to bring healing to local families in our community. One of our Core Values is ‘to be a great community partner and be philanthropic’, and by supporting Parrish Medical Center, we feel like we’ve been living up to that Core Value.”
The role of the Jess Parrish Medical Foundation is matching an individual’s charitable interests with the needs of the hospital and the North Brevard community. In 2021 alone, generous donations by community philanthropists like RUSH Construction, Inc., allowed the Foundation to provide $23,500 in medical scholarships to ten Brevard County students, fund $14,390 in free screening, diagnostic, and ultrasound mammograms to underinsured and uninsured women in North Brevard, and cover the cost of 228 nights of lodging at the Carey Guest House for visitors with a hospitalized loved one.
During the recognition ceremony, Natalie Sellers, Executive Director, JPMF & SVP, Communications, Community & Corp. Services for Parrish Healthcare, stated, “RUSH Construction and the entire RUSH Family have been exceptional partners to Parrish in helping us to extend the reach of our vision, Healing Families–Healing Communities®. A vision that embodies our belief that building strong, healthy communities is the foundation upon which healthy people and healthy families are able to thrive.”
