On March 22, 2019, RUSH Construction attended the United Safety Council 66th Annual Safety Awards Ceremony at Dubsdread Golf Course in Orlando where the company was honored with three new safety awards:
- 2018 Corporate Safety Achievement Award (BRONZE), for Outstanding Safety Performance
- 2018 Outstanding Lost-Time Prevention Award (GOLD), for More than 36-Months Without a Lost-Time Incident
- 2018 Fleet Safety Award (BRONZE), for Outstanding Driver Safety Performance
In attendance at the event were RUSH’s Safety and Quality Control Director Shawn Lucas, Project Manager Ben Thornton, and Vice President Project Mike Lapinski (each pictured here).
RUSH’s overall safety program is comprehensive and includes our corporate commitment to safety, written plan and procedures, performance incentives, training, as well as membership and participation in safety-related organizations. All of RUSH’s Field Supervision hold a current OSHA 30 Hour Certificate, and numerous Construction Health and Safety Certifications and Competent Person Training Cards.
