Giving Back with NAWIC and The Children’s Hunger Project
Supporting our community goes beyond the jobsite.
Recently, RUSH team members Laurie, Ruth, and Suzanne joined fellow members of NAWIC (National Association of Women in Construction) to volunteer with The Children’s Hunger Project, helping pack “Smiles” for local students throughout Brevard County.
The Children’s Hunger Project works to provide weekend food packages to children who may otherwise go without meals when school is not in session. Through the organization’s Smiles program, volunteers help pack and prepare food bags that are distributed to students in need each week.
We are proud of Laurie, Ruth, and Suzanne for taking time to give back and support a cause that makes a meaningful difference in the lives of local children. Their efforts reflect the spirit of service and community involvement that is an important part of the RUSH Family of Companies.
Thank you to NAWIC and The Children’s Hunger Project for creating opportunities to make a positive impact right here in our community.
