RUSH’s young project manager gains the spotlight in Spacecoast Business’ Young Professionals editorial.
Anthony “Bobby” Jicha officially became a part of the RUSH Construction team in May 2009, after working as a project intern for the company since November 2006, while he completed his degree. As project manager, Bobby leads designers from conceptual sketches to complete construction documents, provides cost estimates and budgets, manages the construction team to achieve project milestones and budget objectives, and acts as the primary technical point of contact for the entire project team.
Having just received licensure through the State of Florida, Jicha is the first licensed Professional Engineer in Civil Engineering to be a part of the RUSH team. This represents a significant milestone, both for Bobby as an individual, and for RUSH Construction as a company. Compelled by the industry’s green building movement, Bobby has also become RUSH’s 5th LEED Accredited Professional.
Proud to be a Titusville resident, Jicha always finds time in his schedule to support his community in various ways, such as serving in multiple capacities at his church. Presently, Bobby is working to complete the final steps to become a Certified General Contractor, and also to complete his MBA at the University of Central Florida.
